MakerWorld has established a comprehensive set of Community Guidelines that clearly define the types of content that are prohibited on our platform. These guidelines cover all types of content, including models, print profiles, posts, comments, links, and thumbnails.

To ensure compliance, we use a combination of human reviewers and machine learning algorithms, applying these guidelines equally to all users, regardless of their background, political viewpoint, position, or affiliation.

MakerWorld has established a comprehensive set of Community Guidelines that clearly define the types of content and manners that are prohibited on our platforn. These guidelines cover all types of content, including models, print profiles, comments, images, videos, links, and thumbnails of MakerWorld, Makerlab, Bambu Lab, Community Forum, Community and other programs of MakerWorld platform (collectively herein after referred as "MakerWorld").
To ensure compliance, we use a combination of human reviewers and machine learning algorithms, applying these guidelines equally to all users, regardless of their background, political viewpoint, position, or affiliation.
Our primary objective in implementing these policies is to foster a safe and inclusive community on MakerWorld. We aim to strike a balance between maintaining a safe environment and allowing creators the freedom to share a diverse range of experiences and perspectives.

The following items are prohibited from MakerWorld.

The following rules apply to all content on MakerWorld, including models, print profiles, community posts, comments, ratings, etc. Violations of these rules will result in the removal of the relevant content.

Following the platform rules is important, in order to ensure a correct environment for everyone. Failing to follow the rules can potentially lead to a temporary or permanent MakerWorld account ban.

Models that belong to another creator but are uploaded as "Original" will be taken down. If the model infringes on the intellectual property of another creator, the account uploading this model will be flagged and can lead to a temporary or permanent MakerWorld account ban.

Models that only have slight variations but are uploaded as "Remix" will be taken down.
Infringement of individual's portrait rights, the rights of publicity, personal information
Models uploaded as "Original" but described as "Remix" in model names or descriptions will be taken down because they should be uploaded as "Remix".
2. Please follow the license requirements of the original model
Any model upload which infringes on the license requirements of the original model can lead to a temporary or permanent MakerWorld account ban.
If a model that doesn't allow sharing is shared on the platform, this model will be taken down and the account flagged.
3D Model Guidelines
If a model that doesn't allow remixing is remixed and uploaded to the platform, this model will be taken down and the account flagged.
If the original creator has other requirements, please follow the requirements.
3. We may take down bad-quality models and print profiles. Quality problems include but are not limited to:

Models that belong to another creator but are uploaded as "Original" will be taken down. If the model infringes on the intellectual property of anotheer creator, the account uploading this model will be flagged and can lead to a temporary or permanent MakerWorld account ban.
Models that only have slight variations but are uploaded as "Remix" will be taken down (Please note that scaling, cropping, coloring, fixing non-manifold surfaces, low poly, etc. are considered minor changes and not "remixes").
Models uploaded as "Original" but described as "Remix" in model names or descriptions will be taken down because they should be uploaded as “Remix”.
2. Follow source model licenses
Any remix or re-upload that violates the license of its source models will be taken down.
Specific License Requirements:
Re-uploading: Models prohibited from re-uploading cannot be re-uploaded.
Attribution (BY): Re-uploads and derivatives of models requiring attribution must credit the original creator.
No Derivatives (ND): Models prohibiting derivatives cannot be remixed.
Share-Alike (SA): Re-uploads and derivatives of models requiring identical license terms must maintain the same license terms.
Additional License Requirements: Adhere to any additional license requirements of source models.
CC0 License Requirement:
When publishing a public model under the CCO license, an image of the actual print must be included to demonstrate printability. Failure to do so will result in the model being taken down.
3. Do not upload duplicate models
Please do not upload the same model repeatedly (models with identical information).
Please do not upload multiple models of the same type using the same photo. Multiple models of the same type should be uploaded to a single profile setting with multipletrays, and each tray should be named. Different model files should use different physical print images.
4. Avoid Uploading Damaging 3D Printer Models
Please refrain from uploading models that could potentially damage 3D printers or their components, or affect their functionality. This includes:
Modifications that affect the printer's core functionality or the operation of accessories (like the AMS).
Printed parts that claim to enhance the user experience but actually introduce problems or have been reported as causing issues.
We will enforce this rule based on user feedback, reports, and support tickets that identify problematic modifications.
5. Label NSFW content
When uploading adult content, please ensure that you turned on the NSFW (Not Safe for Work)
option.

When uploading models or posts that generated by AI, please ensure that you clearly identify
and flag the AI generated content.
7. Safety First: Disclose Potential Risks
When uploading models that could potentially cause personal injury, property damage, or fire hazards, please clearly identify and disclose these risks.
8. Complete Model Uploads Required
To maintain model integrity, please ensure that all uploaded models include all necessary components. This includes the model name, model file, model image, and assembly instructions. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
Dividing a complete model into multiple uploads.
Model files are incomplete, missing parts, or missing critical components.
Any of the model files is corrupted and cannot be opened.
Print Profile Guidelines
1. When uploading a print profile, be sure to adhere to the following guidelines

2. We may take down bad-quality print profiles. Quality problems include but are not limited to:

The print profile has significant flaws that may lead to print failures or cause critical components of the model to lose their necessary functions (such as insufficient strength).

The model contains printable mods which can damage or affect the functionality of the printers.

8. When publishing a public model under the CC0 license, you are required to include your own image of the actual print to show its printability. Otherwise, it will be removed.
3. User content must not contain the MakerWorld official logo, suggest endorsement, or use misleading words or descriptions (suchas best, official, top, better, limited, etc.).
9. When uploading adult content, please ensure that you select the NSFW (Not Safe for Work) tag.
10. If our moderators detect account behavior related to getting points or Boosts inappropriately, the accounts will be flagged and repeated offenses can lead to a temporary or permanent MakerWorld account ban.

11. User content must not contain the MakerWorld official logo, suggest endorsement, or use misleading words or descriptions (such as best, official, top, better, limited, etc.).
MakerWorld reserves the right to independently assess the violations of these Guidelines and take the following measures at its discretion:
Account Suspension and Termination
Please report, if anything violates the Community Guidelines. Our reviewers will determine whether that the content is improper or not. And we will promptly remove the content and issue a warning notification to the creator.

Accounts that repeatedly violate our policies, such as by plagiarizing others' models or uploading illegal content models that violate our Community Guidelines, as well as engaging in inappropriate behavior or using offensive language within the community, will lead to a temporary or permanent account ban.
2. Take down models
Creators have the option to appeal any suspension or termination if they believe that a mistake has been made, and our teams will conduct a thorough re-evaluation of the decision.

Your account may be banned from uploading any models or other submissions.
Your account may be banned from any or all programs applications for 30 calendar days.
Repeat offenders may be suspended from any or all programs applications permanently.
6. Permanent Closure of the Account
All models under your account will be removed from MakerWorld.
All points under your account will be revoked.
The account will no longer be able to post, upload models, or engage in other activities.
If users believe that a mistake has been made, they have the option to appeal any suspension or termination by sending an email to support@makerworld.com. Our teams will conduct a thorough reevaluation of the decision.
