CR The Photography Club staved off dissolution by becoming the Cinephoto Club, so we'd better get cracking and take lots of photos and videos! Crackin', crackin', get those photos crackin'. Hello. Crack. Amamiya. I hear you took some night photographs of the science museum. Yeah, I got some good ones. I'd like to take some more night photos too. That's cool. Oh, I'd also like to get some shots from up high. Like from the top of a mountain. Maybe Mount Fuji? This is great! Sounds good. Yeah. Yeah! Hooray! You know, Sacchan, you can actually see the view from Mount Fuji in Goolugoolu Maps in VR. Really? Achievement unlocked! Why not upload a photo taken with your 360-degree camera to Goolugoolu Maps? I can do that? Yeah. You do see user photos uploaded to the maps. So, that means I can do it too. I'll give it a try later. Hey, Shikishima. What sort of photos would you like to take? I like abandoned buildings. You're a ruins junkie? One of the Cinema Club members used to love abandoned buildings, and I'd often see their photos. Wow. Oh, but are you allowed to just go inside them if they're abandoned? That's trespassing, so no. The members would go on special abandoned building tours. Abandoned building tours? The story goes that someone tried to explore one abandoned building on a whim, and they stepped on a piece of rotten flooring and fell all the way through. So now, the building is also known for being haunted. I'll steer clear of that! I'll steer clear of that! Maybe some large structures instead of abandoned buildings then? Any examples? Maybe, the Kurobe Dam in Tateyama or the Super-Kamiokande. Wow. Maybe, the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel. You can actually already see all of those structures in VR. But we want to take our own photos. What do you want to take photos of, Kiriyama? Me? Let's see. Maybe the zoo, or the botanical gardens, or a botanical aviary. And take photos of Sacchan in those places. From head to toe! Nice! You voyeur? Lovely! And we have an action camera, so I'd like to take some videos as well. Me too. Hey, Sacchan. Have you seen Ms. Haru's motovlog yet? Oh, I did! I loved it. I'd love to get some helmet-cam footage of things as well. Full speed ahead! Go, go, go! Hey, speaking of Ms. Haru, she's not here right now. I wonder where she is? Oh, she's out getting a refresher driving course. Refresher driving course? It's like a brushup. You know how terrible of a driver she is. You're right! She drives like she's the bad guy in a getaway car! She said she wants to gather material for her manga. She wants to draw in a way that will make her readers want to visit those places. Oh, my gosh! What was that scrape? I just scratched something! Ms. Akiyama, it's fine. You need to calm down. But why the sudden change of heart? It's not like lazybones manga artist Ms. Haru to be so motivated. You got that right. How right you are. Perhaps that trip she had with her friend not too long ago sparked something within her. Sorry, I should take this. Ms. Shimada? Well, it'll be good to feel safe while she's driving. Right on. I'm home! Oh, Ms. Haru! Welcome back. Look who's back! Hello. Wow, all three of you are here! This is perfect. Are you free this weekend? Yeah, I'm free. And me. Me too. Here you are, Haruno. Oh, thank you! I'm going on a real weekend-long manga pilgrimage! Manga? Pilgrimage? Sure. What's a manga pilgrimage? I just got a call from the publishing house. Our Yamanashi camping manga is getting an anime adaptation next spring. What say you write a piece on the locations featured in the manga? That sounds lovely, but are you sure you want me to do it? I mean, you live in Yamanashi, so I thought you'd be perfect for the job. Okay. I'll do it. Thank you so much! I'll send you the draft and the list of locations. Okay. I'll check them out right away. Whoa! Oh, my gosh! Wow, would you look at that! Mount Fuji is so clear today! This is Lake Motosu where the main character meets the girl who likes camping and they start camping together. Hey, what's wrong? Aren't you gonna take a photo of Mount Fuji? I mean, it's… Always just outside. No need for a photo of that. So this is what happens when you grow up with a marvel as commonplace. Oh, you're right. I think it's over there. Wow! They've got a trampoline! This building is the same one from the manga. Look, they've got one of the volumes here. Wow! They said we can visit the campsite. Man, it's packed. Well, it is summer. Sparkle sparkle. Okay, you guys! Time for the next location! What? Already? Aren't we going through them a little too fast, Ms. Haru? There's a lot to see in just two days. Asagiri Plateau, the Nambu area, Minobu Station, Lake Shibire, the Minami Alps, Fuefuki Park, Mount Kirigamine. Don't tell me we're visiting all of them? We sure are. "Right Before It Becomes an Anime!! The Anime Pilgrimage Stamp Rally… With a Schedule from Hell!" I thought I'd write a story on it. Hell? All right. Our next stop is the Asagiri Plateau Campsite. It's a lot bigger than I thought it'd be. Apparently they even do events and festivals here. And they even have little Shiba dogs here. Okay, guys! Next one! Already? We're backtracking a little for this next one. It's the house where our main camper character lives. She's meant to ride her bike up this hill to Lake Motosu. That crazy girl must really love leg day. Ms. Haru, take a right here. Okay! This is the right spot, but… Not exactly fitting for a main character. More like some creepy ghost. Well, this is a little disappointing. Everything else has been just like it was in the manga. I think it's for the best. Real people wouldn't want lookie-loos lurking around where they live. I guess that's true. Wow, Ms. Haru. You've really gotten better at driving. I practiced extra hard just for this. I didn't even crash into that many things as I was practicing. -Don't say it. She's gotten better. -Oh, boy, did that come as a shock! But… But her posture leaves something to be desired. There should be another character's house around here. Nothing! A big, fat pile of nothing! She bikes from here to Lake Motosu. She's gone beyond leg day and installed robotic legs. I think so. Well then, come on. On to the next one! What a peaceful lake, and so much green! I like this little swan boat. And this place is known for its delicious chai tea. Okay, next! Bye-bye! See? I told you. There's no way we can fit all this into two days. We'll be fine. If I just don't sleep, the day never ends! Ms. Haru, you look a little… If we're to follow this list, then the next destination is deep in the mountains of the Minami Alps. Yup. Yashajin Pass. Please, no! We're here. This place has a hiking trail with a sweeping view over the Minami Alps. You used to be able to drive through it toward Nagano Prefecture, but the general public aren't allowed anymore because it's been made a conservation area. Only shuttle buses are allowed through now. This area is also said to be haunted. Many people have reported sightings in the tunnel up ahead beyond that gate. Or so they say. Taishou? What are you looking at? Hey, Ms. Haru! Cut it out, will ya! Come on, Taishou. Let's go. What was that? Let's get outta here! Ms. Haru. Do you think you could turn the air-conditioning down a bit? Oh, you're cold? Well, it's not like we need the air on at night, right? It's not even on. Just what were you looking at earlier? Taishou! I still feel really cold. Don't tell me we brought some evil thing back with us! Salt's meant to be good for warding off evil spirits. Hey, that's right! Welcome. You think store-bought salt is still okay to use? I'm hungry. Shall we get something to eat? Will this make the evil spirit go away? It should work from the inside. So, we're treating it like medicine? Well, we got rid of the evil spirit, so let's get back on the road! Yeah! Next is a café at Mt. Kirigamine. I can guarantee you they won't be open. One hundred-percent. Well, there's still the live stream they have on offer. Hey, yeah! It's a lot darker than I thought it'd be. Can't see anything with this. Well, let's leave that one for later and go do Tsuetsuki Pass. The main character went there once. We'll get there pronto if we take the highway. Okay! Hey, Ms. Haru? If we're taking the highway, can we make a stop at the Lake Suwa Service Area? Is there something there? There's a viewing area there that apparently has a great night view over Lake Suwa. That sounds nice. Lake Suwa! We made it! Hey, that's right! Now it's time for my nighttime VIITA to shine! Who knew this service area would have a hot spring bath attached to it? This is just what I need after all that driving. Now that we're all feeling refreshed, let's head for Tsuetsuki Pass. Yay. Let me know when I should get off the highway, okay? 'Kay. It's a good thing there's so little traffic at night. Yeah. A good thing. On and on and on we go! Huh? Okaya? Where's that? Keep going, right? 'Kay. Hey, we've been traveling for quite a bit. Shouldn't we be turning off soon? Sorry. I fell asleep. Seriously? Mount Jinbagata, unlocked! Unlocked! Back on Earth! Hooray! It's already the afternoon. We haven't eaten anything since last night. There was an upperclassman from the Cinema Club who loved abandoned buildings, and they'd always show me pictures. Wow. Oh, but are you allowed to just go inside them? That's trespassing, so no. I think that upperclassman would go on abandoned building tours. Abandoned building tours? I heard that one time someone entered an abandoned building on a whim, and they stepped on a piece of rotten flooring and fell all the way through.
