## Development and Release Engineering
Currently the project major goal is the next major 4.2.0 release, ending the
plan from 2016. Dev builds are already built on routine bases. Testing on a
low level is ongoing, more detailed testing will be the next topic. Further
activities focus on the reactivation of the localization team. Documentation,
process and tools are undergoing a complete review. The current activity focus
on:
+ importing the latest work by translators into the OpenOffice code.
+ updating Pootle strings to match trunk (the first Pootle update in years).
+ give translators the possibility to test their translations with dedicated
builds.
+ add new languages to the next major release if translators manage to
complete their work in time.
Further activities are:
+ support of gstreamer 0.1.0 and 1.0
+ Migration of Windows 64 bit
+ MSVC 2015
+ Java 9 support
+ continued migration of code modules from dmake to gbuild.

## Websites & Infrastructure
In the last Quarter our provider SourceForge a data center migration and
critical technical difficulties. Our Software has been unavailable for several
days. As a reaction some PMC Members have concerns about our lack of Plan B.
The project is taking over one VM from Infra. So far the process is slow,
since we discussing with infra and our community the modernisation of the
software we use. From our site the process is constructive.

## WEBSITES & INFRASTRUCTURE
## Fairs and events
We are processing the migration towards new VMs and taking over the
maintenance from infra for these systems. We have targeted to finish the
migration of the Wiki media platform by end of June, in order to proceed with
testing. Forums have been planned to processed in a longer term. However the
progress in the migration relative to our expectations of the forum is better,
and the Wiki media is a bit behind. In total we are satisfied with the progress
in total, since for both topics we see no show stoppers.
OpenOffice, as usual, had a significant presence at FOSDEM, both with a few
